Nancy J. Lyons, MPH  

Ms. Lyons is currently a Senior Communication Associate at The Medical Foundation and develops social marketing campaigns and health promotion materials on a number of public health topics including substance abuse, injury and violence prevention, tobacco, teen health, and more. She has experience in strategic communication planning, qualitative research, creative direction, copywriting, video scriptwriting, graphic design, and training. Previously, she was a Health Communications Specialist for the Massachusetts Department of Public Health HIV/AIDS Bureau where she developed and delivered training curricula for HIV/AIDS service providers.

She has over 10 years of experience in the non profit and state government sectors in the fields of communication, public health, event management, and graphic design. She has presented at several national conferences including American Public Health Association (APHA), CDC’s Health Communication, Marketing and Media, and Sex::Tech 2008. Ms. Lyons received her undergraduate degree in Organizational Communication from Ithaca College and her Masters in Public Health from Tufts University.
